The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Liba 100: Introduction to Liberal Arts

College of Liberal Arts

An introduction to the liberal arts and the nature of the university as a community of scholars. An overview of the history of higher education with special attention to the history of the University of Mississippi. An introduction to the basic activities that form the foundation of the academic enterprise.

  • Students in the College of Liberal Arts with 15 or fewer hours of cumulative course credit.
