The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Phcy 451: Pharmacogenomics

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY

This course is designed to provide students with an integrated knowledge base in pharmacogenomics. Interpretation of pharmacogenomic information is a critical step in the patient care process. It is an imperative step to identifying and preventing medication-related problems and developing patient-centered solutions. The primary purpose of this course is to prepare students for the understanding of drug selection pertinent to the treatment and resolution of clinical syndromes. Key concepts will be reinforced through the application of learned knowledge demonstrated in a final capstone project.
