Soc 619: Religion, Gender, and Sexuality
SOCIOLOGY & ANTHROPOLOGY
This course considers how religion shapes, maintains, and transforms gender and sexualities. Students are introduced to a growing body of contemporary sociological research that uses qualitative case studies to examine the intersection of religion, gender, and sexuality from a feminist and/or queer theoretical perspective.
