Description
The Geography minor introduces students to key concepts and methodologies in the discipline of geography, including spatial and regional analysis and GIS, with an emphasis on theory and practice in human geography. The minor complements majors across the physical, social, and applied sciences and the humanities. Combined with the various approaches these fields offer, students in the minor develop critical thinking and geospatial literacy skills that will serve them in a range of fields and careers.
Course Requirements
The minor in geography consists of 18 credit hours of approved courses, including Geography 101 and 5 additional courses from the list of approved courses.
