The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Geog 344: Korea: People, Places, and Futures

Sociology & Anthropology

An introduction to the society and geography of North and South Korea addressing contemporary issues of race, gender, sexuality, generation, kinship, and trans/national identity formation through topics such as political ideology, K-pop, transnational adoption, the sex industry, and defection from North Korea. Emphasis will be placed on geographically situating these topics, especially in the dynamic neighborhoods of Seoul and in Korea’s landscapes most marked by division and war.
