Edec 325: Function & Theory of Play in Early Child

An exploration of the function of play in early childhood settings as it relates to the cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development of young children. Designed for undergraduate students in early childhood education, the course combines theory and research knowledge on relevant topics in literature on children's play and implications for practice and research in early childhood education.
