The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Minor - Applied Gerontology

Description

The interdisciplinary minor in applied gerontology is offered by the Department of Applied Gerontology in the School of Applied Sciences. The minor complements many other academic majors, and many of the courses satisfy the requirements or electives for other programs and provides students with basic knowledge and skills to enter the workforce in many different venues including human services, allied health care, corporations, administration, and direct services with a greater understanding of the life course.

The Applied Gerontology Minor is offered fully online.
