The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

MIS 340: Mobile App Development for Business

Management Information Systems

An introduction to key concepts, current tools, and technologies for developing modern, GUI-based apps for tablet and mobile phone applications. Students will learn to create programs that facilitate productive and positive user experiences through effective user interface design and will become familiar with rapid development using pre-existing components. The course will also cover ways to use cloud- based and highly scalable facilities, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, to support multi-client mobile applications.
