B.A. in Theatre Arts
Description
The B.A. in theatre arts is a comprehensive, flexible degree that allows students to study various aspects of theatre such as performance ( acting, musical theatre, dance), theatrical production (stage management, directing), design (scenic, costumes, lighting, sound), film production, dramaturgy, theatre history, and dramatic literature. The B.A. degree is designed for students who want to teach, to pursue graduate education, to work in the entertainment industry, or to complement a double major or dual degree program.

Eight (8) hours of dance courses may be counted toward the major, with no more than four (4) hours from dance technique courses (Danc 151-154, Danc 251-254, Danc 351-355, Danc 451-455).

A grade of C or higher is required on all theatre courses applied toward the major.
