The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

GR Minor - Linguistics

Description

The graduate minors in the Department of Modern Languages indicate that the bearer has a certain level of competence in either French, German, Spanish or linguistics. Only students already accepted for graduate study at the University of Mississippi by their home departments are eligible for the graduate minor. Students should seek approval from the Department of Modern Languages prior to undertaking any courses in the minor.

Course Requirements

Graduate students complete 12 hours of graduate-level Lin at the 500 level or above. Transfer credit may not be applied, and no more than 3 hours can come from practicum, internship, research, or individual study course.
