From uncertain origins, blockchain technology has grown to underpin a considerable portion of the world's financial infrastructure and no small part of investor imaginations. This course will examine blockchain technology focusing on its fundamental functioning, its applications in current investment instruments, and how this technology will affect the functions of modern banking and the rationale of the world's financial system.
