The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Coun 664: Internship in CMH Counseling

Leadership & Counselor Education

Students will complete a supervised counseling internship in roles and settings relevant to their specialty area. Students will apply critical counseling skills learned in previous coursework in a clinical setting. Students must complete 600 total hours of their supervised counseling internship (240 direct contact hours) at an approved site. Formative and summative evaluations of the student’s counseling performance and ability to integrate and apply knowledge are conducted as part of internship.

Z grade.
