Certificate in Biomechanics
Description
The BIOMECH certificate program is designed for individuals with backgrounds in engineering, kinesiology, human movement sciences, health, medicine, and other health to kinesiology related areas that are seeking an advanced understanding of biomechanics. The BIOMECH certificate is musculoskeletal anatomy, functional kinesiology, injury evaluation and treatment, biomechanics instrumentation, and sports and occupational biomechanics, therapeutic interventions, and medical device development.
Minimum Total Credit Hours: 15
Course Requirements
The graduate certificate in biomechanics consist of the following courses (15 hours):
- AT 501 - Foundations of Biomechanics (4 hours)
- AT 502 - Musculoskeletal & Movement Biomechanics (4 hours)
- AT 503 - Clinical Application & Injury Biomechanics (3 hours)
- AT 504 - Applied Biomechanics & Movement (4 hours)
