Content is variable. Attention will be paid to recent perspectives and methodologies in the field of musicology (sound studies, critical race studies, and ecomusicology), as well as to topics with longer disciplinary histories (aesthetics, criticism, historiography, reception history, archival studies, musical ontology, and canon formation).
