The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

SOHE 495: Society and Health Internship

College of Liberal Arts

Students complete an internship with a business, nonprofit organization, research university, or government agency that includes a significant health component. Written analysis of internship experience and related academic paper required.

May be repeated once for credit. Only 3 hours may be used toward the minor in Society and Health.

Z-graded.
