The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Psy 511: The Neural Basis of Learning & Memory

Psychology

This course covers topics such as the cellular and molecular mechanisms of learning and memory, the multiple memory systems of the brain, and the role of cortex in memory.

Prerequisites

  • Prerequisite: Psy 319 (minimum grade of C) or Psy 322 (minimum grade of C) or Bisc 327 (minimum grade of C); or graduate standing.
  • Prerequisite: OR Graduate standing with instructor approval.
