Description
The Evidence-Based Policing & Reform (EBPR) graduate certificate program will be a postbaccalaureate, fully online, and accelerated web-based program. The EBPR graduate certificate program will include four courses (3 credit hours/course) totaling 12 hours of graduate-level coursework. Courses are offered in eight-week terms, within the existing University of Mississippi academic calendar format, so that learners may complete the certificate in as little as 16 weeks or as long as two years. The EBPR graduate certificate program is designed for individuals with backgrounds in criminal justice, most notably in law enforcement, and law enforcement-related fields. More specifically, the EBPR certificate program offers knowledge and skills in evidence-based policing and reform for those who are actively employed/working with/or have intentions of working with or in the field of law enforcement and law enforcement-related jobs and careers.
Minimum Total Credit Hours: 12

The graduate certificate in Evidence-Based Policing & Reform would consist of the following courses (12 hours):
- CJ 682 - Introduction to Evidence-Based Policing & Reform (3 hours)
- CJ 683 - Innovation & Reform in Policing (3 hours)
- CJ 684 - Police & Community Partnerships (3 hours)
- CJ 685 - Police Technology & Policy (3 hours)
