B.S. in Health Info & Info Mgmt (2+2)
The B.S. in health informatics and information management (a 2+2 program with the University of Mississippi Medical Center) prepares a graduate to work in a variety of medical/clinical settings in the area of collecting, storing, retrieving, and interpreting health care information.
Minimum Total Credit Hours: 117
The B.S. in health informatics and information management degree is a two-phase program. The first phase consists of 60 semester hours with a 2.5 minimum GPA. The second phase is in a professional program such as the health informatics and information management program offered at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, but this program is primarily online.
