AT 603: Orthopedic Eval of Athletic Injuries I

This combined lecture/laboratory course serves to provide students with the examination techniques used in the clinical diagnosis of injuries to the upper extremity including the cervical spine, thorax, and head. Applied anatomy of orthopedic structures in the upper body will be emphasized and will provide a foundation for the examination. Students will gain knowledge and functional ability in gathering information through patient history, observation, palpation, assessment of range of motion and muscle function, and with special tests.
