The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Graduate Studies


In addition to meeting Graduate School requirements for admission, applicants to the M.A. program in Southern studies must hold a baccalaureate degree in the humanities, arts, social sciences, or journalism. Applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay explaining why they wish to pursue a M.A. degree in Southern studies. Admissions decisions are made by a committee composed of the program director and at least two other members.
