Anth 328: Culture & Society in Latin America
The pursuit of neoliberal policies in Latin America has resulted in
major restructurings of the state, civil society, the market economy,
human rights initiatives, and public welfare programs. This course
tracks the struggle for dignity and recognition by indigenous peoples,
rural peasantries, and urban lower classes.
