The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

HP 600: Foundations of Health Promotion

Health, Exercise Sci & Recreation Mgmt

Designed to prepare prospective directors, managers, and administrators for leadership in health promotion settings. Technical and conceptual skills of leadership will be discussed and applied toward health promotion programs in industry, hospital, and health agencies. Historical and philosophical foundations of health promotion focusing on the principles of the discipline and preparation for service as a professional. Professional ethical issues are considered.
