The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Thea 314: Movement Studies I


This course will teach the actor to create a character physically and includes explorations in Authentic Movement, Developmental Movement, and Bartenieff Movement Principles and Basic 6.

  • Enrollment restricted to Theatre Majors or Minors
  • A minimum of two UM dance classes (except Danc 200, Danc 450, or Danc 455) or Thea 111 with a minimum grade of C.
  • Pre-Requisite: 24 Earned Hours
