The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.
Admission to the M.A., M.F.A., and the Ph.D. is competitive and based
upon undergraduate transcripts, GRE general test scores, three
recommendations, and a writing sample. In addition, the Ph.D. applicant
must have received a bachelor's or master's degree in English or its
equivalent from a compatible institution and must satisfy the Graduate
School's requirements for admission to doctoral study.
See the degree requirements under Programs.
