The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Course Requirements

A minor in classics may be fulfilled either by emphasizing classical civilization, Greek, or Latin. The minor requires 18 hours of courses taught within the department. The classical civilization emphasis must include at least 9 hours at the 300 level or above and not more than 9 hours of Greek or Latin languages courses. The Greek or Latin emphasis must include a minimum of 12 hours of the chosen language.

Other Academic Requirements

Students must achieve a grade of C or better in all course work counted for the minor in classics.
