Hst 303: Alexander the Great
ARCH DALRYMPLE III DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY
This course ia an examination of the rise of Macedonia under Philip, the accession of Alexander's conquest of the Persian Empire. Topics discussed include Macedonia's domination of Greece, Greek opposition, the destruction of Olynthus, the Persian Empire, and differing modern interpretations of Philip and Alexander.
