Coun 639: Intro to Professional Couns & Ethics
LEADERSHIP & COUNSELOR EDUCATION
This course provides a broad overview of the professional roles, functions, and goals of counselors. In addition, a history and overview of counseling as a profession, to include philosophical foundations, multicultural factors, services, credentialing, professional standards, and ethical and legal guidelines for practice, is reviewed.
