The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Hon 360: Honors Internship


Internship in an approved work or volunteer setting on or off campus, including abroad, when a departmental internship is not available. Faculty director must be a full-time UM faculty member; approval of honors dean required. Does not satisfy departmental requirements without prior approval by department chair.

May be repeated once for a maximum of 6 hours.

  • Limited to students in the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College
  • Pre-requisite: Good standing in the Honors College.
  • Pre-requisite: Approval by Honors College Dean.
