Psy 716: Psychopharmacology
This course involves the study of drugs used for the treatment of mental disorders, as well as drugs of abuse. Topics include drug effects in humans, mechanisms of drug action, animal-based research directed toward understanding the neural basis of drug action, and animal models used in preclinical drug testing.
