practical, cultural, and intellectual reasons. Those who are proficient
in a second language have a clear advantage in many fields, becoming
"citizens of the world" in a time when communication with and an
understanding of other cultures are paramount.
The minor in Russian requires the completion of 15 hours of Russian,
beyond the 100 level.
Other Academic Requirements
Grades lower than C in modern languages courses will not be counted
toward the major or minor in modern languages.
