The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Phcy 100: Introduction to Pharmacy

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY

The profession of pharmacy is strictly regulated and sets very specific and high expectations for professional and ethical behavior. Phcy 100 provides first-year Early Entry students an introduction to important academic, professional, and personal skills necessary to succeed in pharmacy school and the practice of pharmacy. This course will include participatory exposure to problem-based active learning and team-based learning and an overview of the pharmacy profession, opportunities for involvement with the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, and an introduction to personal and professional development skills.
