The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Edec 304: Action Lab Infant and Toddler Settings

CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION

n this course, students will be placed in a community child care facility or Early Head Start in order to apply practices and gain experience and understanding of an infant/toddler early childhood room. Students will be required to make careful observations, work with children and a classroom teacher, participate in care and reflect on their experiences. This course is required in conjunction with the undergraduate course Edec 328: Infant and Toddler Development and Programming. Must be admitted to Phase II of Teacher Education is required.
