The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Minor - Classics

Course Requirements

A minor in classics requires 18 hours of Gr, Lat, or Clc, with at least 9 hours at the 300 level or above. Students must complete an emphasis in Greek, Latin, or classical civilization.

The Greek or Latin emphasis must include at least 9 hours of the chosen language, with at least 3 hours at the 300 level or above. Gr at the 100 level cannot be applied to the Greek emphasis. Lat at the 100 level cannot be applied to the Latin emphasis.

The classical civilization emphasis must include at least two Clc courses at the 300 level or above and can include up to 9 hours of Gr or Lat courses at any level.

Other Academic Requirements

Students must achieve a grade of C or better in all course work counted for the minor in classics.
