The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Description

The MIS minor provides undergraduate students knowledge and skills in desktop- and web-based programming that enhances their career opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Course Requirements

A minor in MIS requires Bus/Econ 230, MIS 280, MIS 309 or GB 310, and 9 hours selected from MIS 307, MIS 317, MIS 330, MIS 408, and MIS 412.

Other Academic Requirements

Students are required to have a laptop that runs the Windows operating system. (A Mac laptop with dual boot capability would suffice.)
