Law 552: Risk Management and Compliance I

This course will explore both the theory and practice of risk management and compliance along with the implementation and execution of risk management and corporate compliance programs. Specific topics will include the role of boards, lawyers and other professionals; the role of ethics and codes of conduct; compliance systems and frameworks; risk management; key statutes; and government regulatory frameworks and enforcement efforts. The course is especially appropriate for future in- house attorneys, ethics and compliance officers, directors of risk, corporate lawyers, defense counsel, or even prosecutors and other government lawyers.
