CISE 1005:   Foundations of Artificial Inte
Computer Information Science
This course introduces students to artificial intelligence (AI) and how it is used in everyday life. The coverage of AI technologies is presented, and ethical, social, and legal issues are introduced. This course provides an introduction to the field of artificial intelligence (AI), exploring its history, current applications, and potential future developments. Students will begin by defining AI and examining its historical roots before moving into an in-depth study of machine learning (ML) principles and techniques. The course incorporates real-world case studies to illustrate AI’s impact across industries and examines the ethical, societal, and technological implications of AI adoption. Through discussions, assignments, and examinations, students will develop a critical understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and future directions.
