MIS 619: Advanced Information Systems Mgmt
Advanced study of file processing, databases and database management systems within organizations, logical models (hierarchical, network, relational, and object-oriented), query, optimization, recovery, integrity, concurrency, security, distributed databases and client-server architecture, database machines, knowledge-based and text-based systems, and data mining and warehousing. Experience in practicing data analysis, design, implementation, and administration.
Prerequisite requirements for this course may also be satisfied by consent of instructor.
