Bisc 540: Chemical Ecology

This course will survey the chemically mediated basis for ecological interactions across ecosystems/habitats (e.g., of microbes, plants, insects, and vertebrates; in terrestrial and aquatic contexts) and how these interactions shape behavior, populations, ecosystems, and (co-) evolution of the organisms involved.

- Chem 221: Elementary Organic Chemistry I (Minimum grade: C)
- Prerequisite: 3 hours of 300-level biology with minimum grade of C.
