The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

S St 105: Introduction to the South and Food

Center for the Study of Southern Culture

This course will explore Southern culture and identity through the lens of foodways - what people eat (or do not eat), why and how they eat what they eat, and what it means. Studying foodways offers insight into everyday life, ritual, social interactions, and other cultural phenomena.
