Croft Inst for International Studies

All students wishing to major in international studies must apply to the Croft Institute for admission to the program. The online application to the Croft Institute takes place in two stages. First, the student must apply for admissions to the University of Mississippi.

Second, and after the online UM application has been submitted, the applicant will need to log in at the same site where he/she applied initially and return to the completed application. **The applicant does not have to wait to hear from the University of Mississippi regarding his/her acceptance before beginning the Croft application.

Access the "Special Programs and Scholarship Application" for the Croft Institute and other special programs, such as the SMB Honors College, the Chinese Language Flagship Program, the Lott Leadership Institute, the Residential College, and Scholarships. The special programs and scholarship application is divided into two parts. The first four pages/tabs - Resume, Personal Statement, Recommenders, and Essay - are part of the general information that are made available to all of the special programs selected by the applicant. All of these pages must be completed before moving on to the Croft application section. Please read all of the instructions carefully and answer them correctly.
