Basic knowledge related to speech language and hearing services in various settings (i.e., educational and medical); an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the speech-language pathology assistant/associate/support personnel as part of a service delivery team; implementation of treatment strategies, clinical documentation, accountability, ethics and confidentiality; and professional communication with diverse populations, and other professionals
