Phcl 442: Clinical Toxicology

This course is designed to apply basic pharmacological and toxicological principles to the management of poisoned patients. Several of the drugs commonly encountered in accidental or intentional poisoning are to be covered. The student should be able to recognize signs and symptoms of poisoning, characterize the type and extent of intoxication, and develop a specific management plan.
