The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Edci 608: Curricular Issues in Elementary Mathemat

Teacher Education

Students will examine the purposes, critical issues, and trends that encompass the teaching and learning of mathematics in the elementary classroom. Guided by important documents in the field, students will examine curriculum, pedagogy, and tools that enact desired mathematics teaching that supports conceptual understanding of mathematics for all students, and the challenges and benefits of such efforts.
