The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Edhe 311: Transfer Student Leadership II

Leadership & Counselor Education

This course introduces first-year transfer students to leadership theory, its development, and practical applications. Topics include leadership styles, individual leadership preferences and personality styles, characteristics of successful leaders, goal setting and achievement, group decision making and problem solving, critical thinking, civic engagement, ethics, and leadership in a diverse society. The course also includes coverage of academic skills, major/career exploration, and the mission, values, and structure of a comprehensive, public university.
