The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

His 509: Historiography: African American History

ARCH DALRYMPLE III DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY

An introduction to the research methodology and principles of historiography as applied to specific events and issues in African American history. The course will focus on how African American history has been, and is being, written. Topics include the major historians, philosophies of history, types and uses of evidence and fields in investigation. May not be used to complete history department M.A. 500-level historiography requirements.
