The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Bisc 100: Research Internship

BIOLOGY

High school or community college students participate in a research experience with the mentorship of a biology faculty member. Students will learn how the scientific method is applied in a research setting, develop practical communication and scientific writing skills, and engage in STEM career discussions.

Course may not be counted towards a major or minor in biological science. This course may be repeated for credit with a maximum of 6 credits.

Z-graded.
