The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Prct 471: Advanced Topics in Cardiology

Pharmacy Practice

This 2-hour elective course provides students with an in-depth review and expansion of concepts that were introduced in Phcy 502. Students will gain a broader knowledge and deeper understanding of the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical course, clinical manifestations, prevention and management of various cardiovascular disorders. This class is focused on application of knowledge to improve patient care. Learning techniques that will be utilized include lecture, discussion, formulation of a pharmacist's patient care process plan (PPCP) for patient cases, evaluation of primary literature, and student debates.
