The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

Edci 614: Teachers as Leaders

TEACHER EDUCATION

The purpose of this course is to develop school leaders who promote the success of all students by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to students learning and staff professional growth. Emphasis will be placed on identifying leadership styles, understanding theories of leadership, and working successfully with individuals of different leadership and management styles. Furthermore, participants in this course will learn to lead without a title.
