The Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy operate on both the Oxford and Jackson campuses. The Schools of Dentistry, Health Related Professionals and Medicine, and the Health Sciences Graduate School, are based in Jackson only. (Additional healthcare programs are available through the School of Applied Sciences on the Oxford campus.) Other than these exceptions, the schools above are on the Oxford campus.

DS 098: Intermediate English

DEVELOPMENTAL STUDIES

A course for students not yet prepared to take Writ 100 or Writ 101. Students whose ACT English subscore is less than 17, SAT verbal score is less than 400 or SATR Evidence Based Reading and Writing score less than 470 must enroll in DS 098 during their first semester of enrollment and continue in the course until receiving a passing grade. Students with ACT English subscores of 17, 18, or 19 are strongly encouraged to enroll in Intermediate English. Students enrolled in Intermediate English are not allowed to enroll in other English courses (nondegree).
